Owner-Operated Excellence Since 1998

Dallas–Fort Worth based. Hands-on leadership on every franchise and retail finish-out.

Meet the Andersons

Andco is a father-and-son general contractor based in Dallas–Fort Worth. Hugh has been building since 1990 and founded Andco in 1998, and Trey joined him in 2012. Hugh built the company, and Trey runs the jobs. Together they give landlords and national brands what finish-out work actually takes: an owner who has seen every kind of retail site, and a VP of Operations who stays on the project until it’s turned over.

Today Andco works inside shopping centers for national brands, store after store, across Texas and Oklahoma.

Hugh F. Anderson II, Owner, President and CEO of Andco Construction

Hugh F. Anderson II

Owner, President & CEO

Hugh started in construction in the early 1990s on convenience-store remodels and underground storage tank upgrades, where stores stayed open, inspectors were on site, and the work had to be right the first time. By the mid-1990s he was building national restaurant brands like Taco Cabana, Boston Market, Rally’s and Red Line Burgers, on tight schedules with franchise standards and opening dates that couldn’t slip.

He founded Andco Construction in 1998. In the early years Andco built more than 2 million square feet of self-storage, along with retail and office finish-outs. From 2005 to 2012 Hugh was both developer and contractor on The Outlaw golf course development near Ruidoso, New Mexico, so he knows what the job looks like from the owner’s side of the table too. Since 2012, Andco has focused exclusively on retail finish-outs across Texas and Oklahoma for brands like Sport Clips, 9Round Fitness, Cousin Earl’s and Rebel Athletics, and our Sport Clips work dates to 2002. Hugh sets the standard on every job and stays involved from start to finish.

Trey Anderson, VP of Operations

Trey Anderson

VP of Operations

Trey started his career at Highland Homes, where he learned production construction: schedules, quality, trade coordination, and what it takes to close a house on time. He then joined his father at Andco as superintendent on smaller commercial projects, where he learned shopping-center work, from landlord rules and brand books to night work and punch lists that have to pass a corporate walkthrough.

In 14 years on site, Trey has worked up to running day-to-day management of every Andco project, and he was named VP of Operations in 2026. He coordinates the trades, protects the schedule, keeps the owner and landlord informed, and closes out the job so the tenant can open. Hugh sets the standard, and Trey keeps the project moving.
